1. Serves as an expert adviser, primary consultant, and HAF/A26 spokesperson on intelligence analysis for respective country. Represents HAF/A26 as a country expert on national and international level working groups and meetings, which involve air/air defense, space, theater ballistic missiles, nuclear cyberspace and electronic warfare experts from throughout the intelligence, warfighting, and policy communities.

2. Develops and presents ISR capabilities to a wide variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and analysis derived from ISR assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths.

3. Directs and conducts the most complex analysis of multi-source intelligence evaluating feasibility, relative value, and risk associated with various courses of action. Provides authoritative direction to functional analysts in the overall process of making assessments of foreign military capabilities.

4. Directs and oversees intelligence production. Directs and oversees the development of advanced, multidisciplinary analytic methods and techniques to improve relevance, quality and quantity of intelligence assessments based on current and anticipated information and emergent customer needs.

5. Serves as an expert intelligence analyst and technical authority on ISR issues for agency leadership. Makes authoritative recommendations to the Director of Intelligence and AF/A2 staff; often required to make difficult decisions committing Agency funds or resources impacting future capabilities. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.

Qualifications

This is a GG-15 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-15 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Expert" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-15 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: a mastery of one or more professional or administrative fields; expert knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations; expert knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments; mastery of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Expert knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data in order to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments.
2. Mastery of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources.
3. Expert knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations.
4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to high-ranking, senior-level audiences and IC national-level agencies for decision-making purposes.
6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or justify a position effectively.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
1. Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A nondisclosure agreement must be signed.

2. Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.

3. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments OR travel by commercial or military conveyance in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) may be required in performance of temporary duty (TDY).
